Register or sign a waiver: Before using a swimming pool, swimmers may need to register and sign a waiver or release form. This form typically outlines the rules and regulations for using the pool, as well as any potential risks or hazards associated with swimming.
Membership: Members are required to pay a fee to join the academy such as a daily or monthly fee, or an annual membership fee. Once a member pays their membership fees, they cannot receive a refund of those fees under any circumstances, and they cannot transfer their membership to another person. NO EXTENSION OF MEMBERSHIP PLEASE.
Use lockers or storage areas: Swimmers may need to use lockers or storage areas to store their personal belongings, such as clothes and bags, while they swim. “Management is not responsible for loss of your belongings like: Mobile, Wallets, Ornament etc.”
Prohibit footwear in the pool area and deck: Wearing shoes on the pool deck can create a safety hazard, as shoes can be slippery when wet and can cause slips and falls. Shoes can track dirt, debris, and bacteria into the pool, which can contaminate the water and make it unsafe for swimmers.
Pool Use: The academy may have specific hours of operation for the pool and may restrict access to members only. The academy may also have rules for behavior in and around the pool.
Attend a safety briefing: Before using the pool, swimmers may need to attend a safety briefing that outlines the rules and safety procedures for using the pool.
Safety: The academy may have specific safety rules and regulations, such as requiring lifeguards on duty, enforcing rules on use of flotation devices, or requiring first aid equipment on site.
Conduct: The academy may have rules on behavior and conduct of members and guests, such as no loud or disruptive behavior or no smoking on the premises
Enforcement and Disciplinary Action: The academy may have policies on enforcing the rules and regulations and may have disciplinary action for members who violate the rules.
Wear appropriate swimwear: Swimmers should wear appropriate swimwear, such as swimsuits, and not wear street clothes or shoes. UNDERGARMENTS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE SWIMMING COSTUME.
